About Lessons Learned With John Barry
Meet John Barry, owner and operator of Lessons Learned Guitar Studio, as he answers the question, "What motivates you as a guitar teacher?"
John taught hundreds of children and adults as a contracted guitar teacher for the Department of Defense at Fort Bragg, NC and at Sandhills Music Company in Fayetteville, NC. In 2006 he founded his own company, Lessons Learned Guitar Studio.
When not teaching, John loves to perform. He has played with several bands over the years. He feels performing with other musicians is one of the best ways to learn and grow.

John is passionate about sharing the gift of music with the community. He has hosted two free guitar clinics at the Cumberland County Library and plans to do more.
